Charles from Sick Speed Performance removed the torque tube and found the destroyed rubber couplers, as well as a driveshaft weight that was detached from the DS:

This car had an aluminum flywheel, which is showing some heat scoring marks:

The GM dealer changed this rear seal but the axle doesn't seem to be pushed in as much as the right side:

Charles resealed up the tranny to fix the leak, and swapped in a new reverse lockout solenoid:
here is the driveshaft (called a "propeller shaft") with one of the shredded couplers still attached. Also shows the center rubber bushing that is supposedly pressed-on.
